Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager / Director with strong expertise in the US Healthcare domain to lead large-scale transformation and modernization programs.
The ideal candidate will have excellent executive communication skills, strong leadership experience, and a proven track record managing complex healthcare programs involving business, technology, and global delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex US Healthcare programs across digital transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Conduct executive reviews, steering committee meetings, governance forums, and status reviews with senior leadership.
- Serve as the primary interface between executive stakeholders, customer leadership, business sponsors, and delivery teams.
- Manage large-scale programs using Global Delivery Model execution.
- Own program scope, schedule, budget, delivery quality, risks, dependencies, and resource planning.
- Manage cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, SMEs, technology teams, vendors, and offshore/onsite delivery teams.
- Drive program governance, reporting, escalation management, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure delivery adherence to timelines, quality standards, and contractual commitments.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies based on program requirements.
- Lead modernization initiatives within digital healthcare platforms and applications.
- Identify and proactively manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Build strong relationships with business sponsors and customer leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 17+ years of overall IT experience.
- 8+ years of Program Management / Delivery Management experience.
- Strong experience in the US Healthcare domain.
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Healthcare Provider
- Medicaid
- MMIS
- Claims
- Enrollment
- Eligibility
- Healthcare Digital Transformation
- Proven experience managing large transformation / modernization programs.
- Strong experience managing global delivery models with onsite/offshore teams.
- Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder, customer, people, budget, and risk management experience.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, and/or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, business sponsors, SMEs, and technical leadership.
